At Richmond Car Sales, we work with our warranty provider to give you peace of mind when buying your next vehicle. Included in the purchase price of your new car is a minimum 3-month AA Warranty policy (cover level subject to qualifying criteria) which includes 12-months AA Basic Breakdown Cover.

What is covered? - almost all the manufacturers original mechanical and electrical components are covered against sudden failure - for a full list of policy terms and conditions, please refer to your policy booklet.

  • Camshaft Timing Belt (subject to servicing)
  • Sensors
  • Turbo
  • In-Car Entertainment

What is not covered?

  • Wiring looms, pipes, hoses, and external oil/fuel leaks
  • Serviceable/maintenance items including friction materials - brakes, wipers, tyres etc.
  • Improper/incorrect servicing and/or maintenance - vehicles must be serviced and maintained in line with manufacturer recommendations
  • Failures due to water ingress
  • Vehicles modified from original manufacturer specification

For vehicles up to 10 years old/100,000 miles at the inception of the policy:

Protect Essential 12m/£1000 Claim Limit - from £249.00 inc. VAT

Protect Essential 12m/£3000 Claim Limit - from £349.00 inc. VAT

Includes 1hr diagnostics (paid as part of an approved claim)

For vehicles up to 8 years old/80,000 miles at the inception of the policy:

Protect Plus 12m/£1000 Claim Limit - from £299.00 inc. VAT

Protect Plus 12m/£3000 Claim Limit - from £399.00 inc. VAT

As Essential with cover for main 12v Battery (6m), Wear & Tear up to 85,000 miles
